As our school roll continues to grow, we are mindful to make sure we continue to have that personal touch only a smaller school can have.  We have dedicated staff for transition, year 7, SEN and pastoral care to ensure no stone is left unturned to make the transition from primary to secondary a smooth one.  This process should not be underestimated and is something we take very seriously as a school.

Staindrop Academy provides a warm, exciting and supportive experience for students moving up from primary school. We support all for their transition to secondary school and have developed programmes to involve students and parents in the process.  This ranges from moving up days, moving evening, online sessions, personal visits, school visits, parent drop ins and a clear communication system. Our aim is to ensure students are happy, valued and successful even before they arrive with us in September.
