PSHE

At Staindrop Academy, our PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) programme is taught through our Wonder curriculum – a progressive curriculum tailored to be age appropriate and accessible for all students.

Student learn about a range of topics throughout the year, building on their previous knowledge and preparing them for their next steps in the wider world. 

Lessons are typically delivered by your child’s form tutor once per week. External agencies are also used to help with the delivery of some sessions. 

At the end of each lesson there is signposting for the students to ensure that they are supported when they leave the classroom.
